The Korean Cultural Centre Australia invites you to celebrate Chuseok with a special day filled with Korean traditions and hands-on cultural experiences.
Enjoy a live traditional Korean music performance and take part in Chuseok-themed craft and cultural activities. Come with your family and friends to discover the traditions and culture of Chuseok in Korea!

11:00 - 12:00 | Traditional Korean Music Performance
Immerse yourself in a special traditional Korean music performance at the Centre's hanok, featuring a haegeum and gayageum (Korean traditional instruments) duet accompanied by piano. 12:00 - 14:00 | Chuseok Cultural Experiences
● Make Your Own Moving Moon Rabbit
Create your own moving moon rabbit - inspired by the full moon and the moon rabbit, both iconic symbols of Chuseok. Write your wish on the full moon, bring your moon rabbit to life, and make this Chuseok unforgettable.
● Dalgona Challenge
Test your skills at the dalgona challenge! Have a taste of this childhood snack and experience the play culture through the popular sweet treat.
● Chuseok Food & Culture
Savour the flavours of Chuseok and connect with traditions that transcend generations. Explore how a shared table brings families, friends, and neighbours closer together.
VISITOR INFORMATION:
-This is a free event open to people of all ages. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
-Application is required to attend the music performance.
-No registration is required for the Chuseok cultural activities. Visitors are welcome to walk in and participate on the day.
-Activities may finish early if all prepared materials are used up.
-Photos and videos taken during the event may be used for promotional and archival purposes. By attending the event, you acknowledge and agree to the use of such photos and videos.
